In 2019 writer and photographer Ali MC spent four weeks documenting the streets of Iran’s hustling cities on black and white 35mm film. The resultant photo book - Analog Iran - captures the mood of a nation under immense political, religious and economic pressure. From opium addicts living in dugout graves to leather jacketed rebel youth, from strong willed young women to the devout, black-clad pilgrims, Analog Iran provides an insight into a complex and diverse nation.
